Smokey Hollow Resort is for couples who would rather their wedding feel like a private Clear Lake getaway than a formal hotel production. The resort currently offers intimate weddings with exclusive access, giving the closest people in the couple's lives a place to stay, celebrate and spend real time together.

The Pavilion can seat up to 40 guests for dinner, with a covered deck that can handle cocktails, overflow seating or a rainy-day ceremony. Outside, towering mature trees, perennial romantic gardens and a secluded ceremony cove create a softer natural setting, while the resort can sleep up to 47 guests.

There is a lovely intimacy to having almost everyone staying where the wedding happens. The celebration does not disappear when dinner ends. It becomes a bonfire, another conversation, a quiet walk back to a room and breakfast with the same people the next morning. For a small wedding, that extra time together can be the most romantic luxury of all.
