Seaview Golf & Country Club gives a Cape Breton wedding one of those ceremony views guests are likely to talk about before they even reach the reception. Couples can marry at the top of the mountain overlooking the water, with the course and surrounding lush greenery stretching around them.

The club is actively welcoming weddings large and small. Its clubhouse spaces can accommodate up to 224 people in total, including the hall, bar and patio, with a large dance floor and full-service bar ready for the reception. Couples are also free to bring in their own caterer and shape the menu around their celebration.

The day has a beautiful natural progression. Everyone climbs toward a ceremony with water in the distance, photographs make the most of the course and then guests gather back at the clubhouse for dinner.

By the time the dance floor fills, the mountain outside has gone quiet. The view started the story, but the people inside get to finish it, leaving the kind of warm, romantic memory that feels almost storybook long after the last dance.
