Rocking Ridge Ranch

Tucked into the rolling landscape south of Kamloops, Rocking Ridge Ranch gives couples a wedding weekend surrounded by sagebrush, open sky and views toward Napier Lake.

Ceremonies take place beneath a rustic log arbor, with an aisle edged in stones gathered right from the property. Afterwards, everyone can move into the covered timber-frame reception space, where a built-in bar, dance floor and rustic tables are already waiting.

There is room for up to 150 guests, but nobody necessarily has to leave when the music ends. Friends and family can bring their tents and RVs and camp right on the ranch, turning one wedding day into a weekend together.

There are lawn games for the afternoon and a firepit waiting for the evening, giving the whole celebration an easy, relaxed rhythm.

For couples who would rather end their wedding around a fire beneath a BC sky than beneath hotel lights, Rocking Ridge Ranch feels like a little adventure of its own.
