La Rabouillère

La Rabouillère feels like a wedding at a beloved country table, where the farm feeds the feast, the animals are part of the welcome and the evening ends with everyone sleeping under the same roof.

The farm sits in Saint-Valérien-de-Milton, on the line between Montérégie and the Eastern Townships, and has been a certified Table Champêtre since 1992. The kitchen is led by chef Jérémie Pilon, trained at the ITHQ, with Marie-Claude Bouchard, trained in service and sommellerie, at his side. The meat on the plate is raised on the property: lamb, Berkshire pork, rabbit and guinea fowl, joined by regional cheeses, ciders and beers. Couples may also bring their own wine.

The reception rooms each come with their own outdoor area for the welcome and cocktail. Le Pavillon holds up to 90 guests with views over the gardens, La Salle du Piano seats 15 to 40, La Salle du Foyer gathers 10 to 30 around a fireplace, and Le Salon Privé, built as a log house in 1890, keeps groups of up to 18 close. Wedding packages start from $82 per person, with ceremony and evening dancing as add-ons.

Afterward, La Maison sleeps 4 to 12 and Le Loft 2 to 6, so up to 18 people can stay the night.
