Puddicombe House gives a New Hamburg wedding the irresistible romance of a grand nineteenth-century home where history, gardens and modern celebration meet beautifully. Built in 1868 in the Italianate style, the restored mansion remains full of original character while now bringing together weddings, dining, guest rooms, a spa and salon on one remarkable property.

Couples can hold both ceremony and reception on site, with indoor and outdoor ceremony possibilities and a particularly lovely riverfront setting. Ten guest rooms allow loved ones to stay close, while getting-ready spaces and on-site beauty services mean the wedding morning can begin in the same historic place where the vows will later be spoken.

There is something enchanting about waking inside an old mansion on the day you get married. Historic windows fill with morning light, flowers begin arriving and the house slowly changes from beautiful to unforgettable.

Then the river catches the evening light, dinner gathers everyone together and a home built in 1868 adds one more love story to its long and graceful history.
