Port Cunnington Lodge turns a wedding into an enchanting two-day escape on the shores of Lake of Bays. Set across 22 scenic acres with more than 1,800 feet of natural shoreline, the historic Muskoka resort surrounds couples with sparkling water, rugged landscape and charming lakeside accommodations.

Vows can be exchanged on the gazebo dock with the lake stretching behind it or inside the renovated barn, while photographs can wander from sandy beach to shoreline, dock and open Muskoka scenery. Guests can stay on site, gather for a relaxed dinner and campfire, and return the next day for the ceremony and celebration.

There is something almost magical about crossing a dock in wedding clothes while the lake glitters around you. The setting feels peaceful, intimate and completely separate from everyday life.

Then evening settles across Muskoka, the shoreline grows soft and shadowy and the lodge fills with dinner, music and one unforgettable celebration beside the water.
