Paletta Mansion feels less like arriving at a wedding venue and more like being welcomed into an extraordinary lakefront home for the day. The historic three-storey mansion sits within 14 acres of Burlington waterfront parkland, with original hardwood floors, seven working fireplaces and Lake Ontario waiting just beyond the windows.

Weddings have exclusive use of the mansion during their celebration, along with preferred use of Paletta Lakefront Park. Couples can get ready on site, exchange vows on the verandah or terrace overlooking the serene lake and move indoors if the weather changes. Plated dinners suit celebrations of up to 100 guests, while cocktail receptions can welcome up to 150.

There is something wonderfully romantic about a mansion wedding because the day never feels contained to one ballroom. It moves through rooms, fireplaces, terraces and breathtaking lake views as though the house itself is part of the story.

Then evening settles over the waterfront. The park grows quiet, the mansion glows from within and, for a few hours, this grand old Burlington home belongs entirely to one new beginning.
