Orr Lake Golf Club has something most modern wedding venues cannot simply build.

A dance floor that has been waiting for celebrations since 1928.

The historic hall began long before the property became the golf club it is today, and that sense of history still gives weddings here a wonderfully relaxed character.

Couples can exchange vows outside among tall birch trees, with a wedding arch, gardens and the course stretching behind them.

Then the ceremony ends.

Guests begin celebrating while the newlyweds wander across the grounds for photographs beside old stone walls, wooded areas and views toward Orr Lake and the Blue Mountains.

Later, everyone gathers inside the historic dance hall.

Dinner begins.

Speeches become laughter.

Then the room finally returns to what it was built for almost a century ago.

Dancing.

The hall can welcome approximately 175 guests, making it large enough for a full celebration without losing the warmth of a country gathering.
