Northbrook Farm Weddings gives a Severn wedding the intimate charm of a family farm where ceremony and reception can unfold in one peaceful countryside setting. The property has welcomed weddings since 2013 and sits just outside Orillia, close enough to be convenient while still feeling beautifully removed from the city.

Celebrations can welcome up to 160 guests, with a large event tent providing a reception setting and a reassuring indoor-outdoor backup if the weather changes. The owners live on the property, giving the venue the personal feeling of a place that is genuinely cared for rather than simply opened for events.

There is something lovely about arriving at a farm where the whole day can stay together. Guests settle in, the ceremony begins and nobody needs to rush away once the vows are finished.

Then afternoon drifts into evening, the tent begins to glow and the quiet countryside becomes warm with dinner, speeches and dancing. For one night, the family farm becomes part of another family's beginning.
