High on a wooded hill overlooking the Southwest River, New London Carriage House brings together an old Prince Edward Island barn, beautiful water views and the relaxed feeling of a wedding in the countryside.

The property's restored barn dates back to its life as part of a working dairy farm and now welcomes receptions of up to 225 guests. For something smaller, the Carriage House offers a more intimate space overlooking the water.

Couples can say their vows right on the property, with several ceremony settings that make the most of the surrounding landscape.

Before everything begins, one wedding party can settle into the light-filled Hen House to get ready, while another has the Studio Bar for relaxing, playing pool and spending time together.

With New London Bay and the Cavendish Dunes in the distance, it feels unmistakably like PEI. Add an evening inside the old barn and it becomes the kind of island wedding guests will remember long after they have gone home.
