Mother Fudruckers Farm

Mother Fudruckers Farm gives an Orillia-area wedding the nostalgic romance of a real working farm where horses, fields and an old barn are genuinely part of everyday life. Established in 1886, the 146-acre property has been shaped by generations of farming and now welcomes private barn weddings only minutes from the city.

A horse-drawn carriage can carry the bride into the ceremony, while the barn brings together rustic timber, soft draping and warm overhead lights for the reception. The property remains private for each wedding, letting the countryside belong entirely to the celebration for the day.

There is something almost storybook about hearing hoofbeats before the ceremony and seeing a carriage appear across an old Ontario farm. It feels romantic because it belongs naturally to the place.

Then the horses settle, the barn lights begin to glow and the quiet working farm becomes beautifully dressed for dinner, dancing and a night full of country charm.
