Mont-Orford feels like a wedding held at the top of the world, where the mountain itself becomes the guest of honour and the Memphrémagog region unfolds below in every direction.

The resort is both a ski station and a golf club, set against a mountain inside a national park. The golf course is described by the resort as one of the most beautiful panoramic courses in Québec, and at the summit five viewpoints at 850 metres of altitude each open onto a different panorama of the region. In summer there are hiking trails and mountain biking; in winter the slopes take over.

For a wedding, couples can choose from more than nine rooms and spaces spread between the golf club and the ski station, all with views of the surrounding mountains. An event team accompanies the couple through the organization and logistics, and events can be personalized on request, so the day can be shaped around the two of them rather than a set formula.

Picture the ceremony with the peaks standing behind the vows, a cocktail hour as the light shifts across the valley, and a reception that settles in as the mountain darkens outside the windows. Guests have somewhere to explore before and after, whether that is a round of golf or a walk on the trails.
