Millcroft Inn & Spa makes a wedding feel as though it has slipped into a storybook corner of Caledon. The historic country inn sits beside the Credit River, Millpond and falls, giving couples water, lush greenery and elegant old-world character within one intimate wedding destination.

Current wedding spaces include the gently moving river Room, which hosts up to 80 guests with views toward the Credit River Falls, and the Riverside Wedding Garden, also suited to celebrations of up to 80. Couples can hold ceremonies and receptions on the property, then stay at the inn and make the wedding part of a wider spa getaway.

There is something wonderfully romantic about hearing moving water around a wedding. It softens the quiet before the vows, becomes part of the photographs and stays close even after everyone has moved inside.

By evening, the peaceful countryside darkens beyond the windows and the inn grows warmer. The wedding feels tucked away, as though the whole little riverside world has been reserved for one couple.
