Mill River Resort gives a western PEI wedding the relaxed romance of an Island getaway where countryside, golf, accommodation and celebration can all belong to the same weekend. The four-season resort actively hosts weddings with both indoor and outdoor possibilities and space for celebrations of up to 200 guests.

Couples can gather everyone in the Hogan Convention Centre or explore more intimate resort spaces, while guest rooms, chalets, the golf course, spa and surrounding grounds allow loved ones to settle in rather than simply arrive for a few hours.

There is something wonderfully romantic about waking at a resort on the morning you get married and knowing your favourite people are already nearby. The day begins slowly, excitement gathers around the property and the Island landscape makes everything feel a little softer.

Then evening arrives, everyone comes together and the quiet resort becomes warm with dinner, speeches and music. Long after the formal celebration ends, the wedding weekend is still unfolding around you.
