Membertou Trade & Convention Centre gives Cape Breton couples the freedom to celebrate on a truly grand scale without losing the ceremony itself in the size of the room. Weddings are a major part of the centre's current offering, with both indoor and outdoor ceremony settings and banquet space for up to 500 guests.

Couples can choose the Main Hall for the largest celebrations or the Jenu Room for gatherings of up to about 200, depending on the layout. In warmer weather, vows can take place outdoors in the Membertou Heritage Park yard. Catering, bar service, linens, tables, chairs and an experienced events team help carry the practical side of the day.

The centre is also connected by pedway to Hampton Inn Sydney, giving travelling guests somewhere to stay only steps from the celebration.

For a wedding with a big family, cultural traditions or a guest list that deserves room to gather properly, Membertou lets the day be generous. Hundreds of people can turn toward the same vows, then fill the room with dinner, music and celebration, leaving the kind of warm, romantic memory that feels almost storybook long after the last dance.
