Maritime Heritage Centre

There are few places where Campbell River feels more present than it does inside the Maritime Heritage Centre.

Set beside Discovery Passage, the Centre gives couples a wedding surrounded by ocean views, West Coast history and the character of a building devoted to the stories of life on the water.

Rotary Hall brings warmth to the celebration with its timber-frame design, wooden floors and wide views toward the ocean. An outdoor balcony lets guests step outside with a drink in hand, while the adjoining mezzanine overlooks the historic BCP45 fishing vessel and can become part of the ceremony or gathering space.

The hall can welcome approximately 146 guests for a seated celebration, giving couples enough room for a full wedding without losing the intimacy of having everyone close.

The newlyweds step onto the balcony and, for a few minutes, everything becomes quieter.
