Lady Smith Manor feels as though it was waiting for weddings long before anyone thought to call it a venue. The 1840 Georgian manor in Dorchester is surrounded by New Brunswick countryside and filled with the period details, hidden corners and elegant old-world character that make an intimate wedding feel like a story unfolding room by room.

Couples can choose a micro-wedding for up to 30 guests or turn the celebration into a full weekend with exclusive use of the Manor and romantic gardens. The weekend experience also includes access to its suites, terrace and wonderfully unexpected English-style pub, The Thirsty Whippet, along with planning and coordination support.

The romance here is not something that needs to be added with props. It is already in the old house, the romantic gardens and the feeling of having an entire manor become yours for the weekend.

Vows happen surrounded by history, dinner feels like a private house party in another era and guests keep discovering little spaces they will remember from the photographs. It is intimate, character-filled and beautifully removed from the ordinary.
