Knollwood Golf Club gives an Ancaster wedding several different versions of country romance on one property. Its wedding settings range from outdoor ceremony spaces among towering mature trees to rustic reception spaces where old stone and timber create a feeling far removed from a conventional banquet hall.

Current weddings at the club include ceremonies, receptions and celebrations around the New Course, with recent weddings of about 100 guests using the outdoor ceremony setting, reception hall and deck. Other venue areas include the Hitching Post, Harris Hall and Harris Pond, giving couples options for different guest counts and moods.

There is something lovely about a wedding that can feel rustic without feeling improvised. Nature surrounds the ceremony, while the reception still has the comforts needed for dinner and dancing.

By night, the course is dark and quiet beyond the deck. Inside, the old-country character becomes warm, lively and completely personal, leaving the kind of warm, romantic memory that feels almost storybook long after the last dance.
