Jamaica Pavilion

Jamaica Pavilion gives a Montréal wedding the rare feeling of celebrating inside a piece of Expo 67 history surrounded by gardens.

Set on Île Notre-Dame in Parc Jean-Drapeau, the fully renovated pavilion sits within the Jardins des Floralies, where greenery, mature trees and the architecture of Montréal's most famous world exposition all meet in one place.

The building is bright with large windows and wrapped by an outdoor terrace, allowing the celebration to stay connected to the landscape even after everyone moves inside.

Up to around 100 guests can gather for a banquet, or approximately 150 for a cocktail-style reception.

That makes the pavilion especially lovely for couples who want the wedding to feel elegant without becoming enormous.

The gardens can become part of the photographs.

The terrace can hold cocktail hour.

Then the pavilion fills for dinner.

And once evening reaches the island, the old Expo building begins to glow among the trees.

There is something beautifully Montréal about that.
