In London's Old South neighbourhood, Idlewyld Inn & Spa is made for couples who would choose an intimate dinner in a beautiful old mansion over a ballroom filled with hundreds of people.

Dating to 1878, the historic inn is filled with the architectural details and warmth that give a small wedding somewhere memorable to belong.

Celebrations are kept to around 50 guests, allowing the ceremony, photographs, dinner and overnight stay to unfold in one place without ever feeling crowded or impersonal. Vows can be exchanged indoors or outside before everyone gathers for a beautifully prepared dinner from the inn's own kitchen.

There are guest rooms upstairs, a spa on site and even elopement packages for couples who want to make the day entirely about the two of them.

And for one particularly memorable arrival, wedding couples can ask about the inn's chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce Phantom for transportation and photographs.
