Hopewell Highlands

Hopewell Highlands began with a love story before it ever became a wedding venue.

The owners fell in love with the property first. A proposal happened beneath a maple tree overlooking the Bay of Fundy, followed later by their own wedding on the same land.

Eventually, they decided other couples should be able to begin their stories there too.

Today, the 300-acre property in Hopewell Hill is home to a striking post-and-beam barn surrounded by rolling farmland, with Grindstone Island and the changing tides of the Bay of Fundy visible in the distance.

The barn can welcome up to approximately 190 guests, with indoor and outdoor ceremony options and exclusive use of the venue. There is also a private bridal suite designed for the quieter hours before the ceremony.

It is easy to imagine that morning.

Friends gathered in the suite.

Someone fixing a dress.

Someone else staring out the window because sitting still has become impossible.

Then everyone steps outside.

The same landscape where one couple once became engaged becomes the backdrop for another couple's vows.

Afterward, the barn comes alive.

Dinner begins beneath the timber frame. The view outside turns golden. Conversations get louder and the formal part of the day slowly gives way to celebration.

There is something especially meaningful about a venue created from someone's own happiest memories.

Hopewell Highlands was built because one couple loved this place enough to share it.

Now other couples get to make it part of their story too.
