Hillside Lodge & Chalets gives couples the kind of Golden wedding where the mountains are not simply somewhere in the distance. They are part of almost every moment.

Set beside the Blaeberry River, the property looks toward Redburn Mountain and surrounds the celebration with forest, water and fresh mountain air. Couples can exchange vows outdoors with the river and peaks behind them, then move into the rustic barn for dinner, speeches and dancing beneath exposed wood beams.

The venue hosts weddings of up to 100 guests, which keeps the celebration beautifully connected. It is large enough for a joyful room full of favourite people, but intimate enough that the evening can still feel warm and personal.

One of the loveliest parts is that the wedding can become a full weekend. Cabins and lodge accommodation can keep around 40 guests on the property, while couples have exclusive use of the venue during the celebration. A firepit and barbecue area create space for those slower moments before or after the formal wedding, when everyone can simply be together.

The setting is especially suited to couples who want nature without sacrificing the comfort of a real reception space. Mountain vows can flow into a cosy barn evening without asking guests to travel somewhere else.
