Spread across 22 oceanfront acres on Salt Spring Island, this heritage country estate feels beautifully removed from ordinary life. Gardens roll toward Ganges Harbour, cottages and guest suites sit around the property and the sea is never very far away.

Weddings here are intentionally intimate.

Couples can choose among several ceremony settings, including an ocean-view arbour surrounded by the estate's gardens.

For smaller celebrations, the glass-enclosed Veranda welcomes approximately 40 guests beneath vaulted ceilings and garden views. Larger weddings of up to approximately 100 can gather beneath a tent surrounded by forest and ocean scenery.

There are just 18 guest suites across the estate, which means the people staying here are not lost somewhere inside an enormous resort.
