Gowan Brae Golf & Country Club brings a Bathurst wedding right to the shores of Bathurst Harbour on the Bay of Chaleur. The course and water create a naturally beautiful, romantic setting before the first flower arrangement is placed, giving couples scenery that can follow them from ceremony photographs into the reception.

The club actively hosts weddings and offers a full-service banquet venue for groups of up to 200. Couples can also hold their ceremony on site, while the club's decorating inventory includes details such as lighted backdrops, chair covers and linens. Menu options and an experienced event team help bring the practical pieces together.

There is something wonderfully East Coast about celebrating with the Bay of Chaleur so close. The day can begin with vows against open scenery, move into photographs across the course and finish with everyone gathered around dinner tables only a short distance away.

By evening, the golf course settles down, the harbour remains beyond it and the wedding becomes the liveliest thing in the landscape.
