Golden Civic Centre

Golden Civic Centre gives a wedding the warmth of gathering inside a piece of the town's history, with the mountains of Golden waiting just outside.

Built by community volunteers in 1948 from salvaged Columbia River Lumber Company posts and beams, the Civic Centre was restored in 2011 and remains Golden's dedicated performing arts and cultural space.

The Great Hall is also actively used for weddings.

Its warm timber-frame character, stage, theatrical lighting and dance floor give couples a celebration space that already has personality before the flowers and tables arrive. A professional catering kitchen supports the practical side of the reception, while the downtown location keeps the wedding close to the rest of Golden.

Then the room changes.

The tables fill.

Dinner becomes speeches.

The stage lights soften.

And a hall built for performances becomes the setting for a story that only happens once.

Outside, Golden still brings the mountains.
