Ferguson Estates gives a Camlachie wedding an extraordinary sense of space, with 247 acres of southern Ontario countryside surrounding the celebration. Creeks, lakes and open landscape create a peaceful natural backdrop, while the dedicated event hall can welcome weddings of up to 200 guests.

Couples can choose among outdoor ceremony locations or bring the vows inside, then move naturally into the reception without leaving the property. The estate is also dog-friendly, making it possible for a much-loved four-legged family member to be part of the day.

There is something dreamy about standing in wedding clothes with acres of countryside stretching around you. The water and greenery make photographs feel soft and unhurried, and even the few minutes between ceremony and reception can become a chance to simply take the day in.

Then evening settles over the estate, the landscape fades into the background and the hall begins to glow. The vast property grows still while the celebration at its centre becomes wonderfully alive.
