Hidden in Toronto's Don Valley, Fantasy Farm feels surprisingly far from the city around it.

The property is surrounded by conservation land, mature trees and greenery, creating the feeling of a country wedding without asking your guests to leave Toronto.

Outdoor ceremonies can take place in the private garden or beneath the branches of an old willow tree where couples have been exchanging vows for generations. As the seasons change, so does the backdrop, from fresh spring greenery and full summer trees to the colours of an Ontario autumn.

Inside, the Grand Ballroom welcomes celebrations of up to 220 guests. Floor-to-ceiling windows keep the surrounding landscape visible, while wooden beam details bring some of the warmth of the valley indoors.

For something smaller, the Cottage offers a more intimate setting with its own outdoor terrace and fountain, along with views toward the Toronto skyline.

Fantasy Farm has been welcoming celebrations since 1943, and that combination of history, gardens and unexpected greenery makes it a lovely choice for couples who want a Toronto wedding that does not really feel like it is in Toronto at all.
