Eganridge Resort, Golf Club & Spa gives a Kawartha wedding an entire weekend beside Sturgeon Lake. Couples can marry beneath a towering maple at the water's edge, gather around the historic 1837 Dunsford House and then celebrate in one of several reception settings across the resort.

Six ceremony locations and six reception spaces give the day remarkable flexibility. The Treetops Ballroom seats up to 150 with room for dancing, the Dining Room can host around 100 and tented celebrations can reach 250. Smaller weddings can take over the Dunsford House for up to 48 guests. Accommodation, an on-site coordinator and the resort's culinary team keep the weekend connected.

There is something wonderfully romantic about letting a wedding move through a landscape rather than one room.

the serene lake begins the story, the old log mansion adds history and, by night, dinner and dancing take over. Morning comes with Sturgeon Lake still outside, quietly waiting for the newlyweds.
