Domaine de l’Ange-Gardien is the kind of place where a wedding can take over the countryside for the day. Set in L’Ange-Gardien, less than 25 minutes from downtown Ottawa and Gatineau, the Domaine gives couples space to bring their ceremony, photographs, dinner and dancing together in one wonderfully relaxed Québec setting.

The celebration can begin outside, with the Domaine’s wooden gazebo creating a beautiful place for the moment everyone has been waiting for. Guests gather, the music begins and suddenly all the months of planning become one walk toward the person waiting at the other end of the aisle.

From there, the day belongs to you. Wedding couples receive access to the Domaine, allowing the ceremony and reception to feel like parts of the same story rather than separate events. Inside, two banquet halls provide space for celebrations of different sizes, while the surrounding countryside gives the wedding room to breathe beyond the reception tables.

Food is prepared through the Domaine’s own catering service, with couples invited to choose and personalize their wedding menu. There is even an annual tasting dinner for upcoming wedding couples, turning one of those practical planning decisions into another little memory along the way.

Perhaps most importantly, couples do not have to spend their wedding day quietly worrying about what is happening behind the scenes. The Domaine’s team helps with planning before the wedding and takes care of coordination on the day itself, including setup, teardown, cleaning and bar service. It leaves the two people at the centre of everything free to actually be there for it.

And that is when the best parts begin.

The ceremony is over. Someone raises the first glass. Dinner becomes speeches, speeches become music and eventually the dance floor fills with the people who have known you through every chapter that came before this one.
