Dolan Creek Farm

Dolan Creek Farm sits in the Salmon River Valley just outside Salmon Arm, where pasture, hills and wide Shuswap views give a wedding the feeling of being held inside the landscape rather than simply beside it. At the heart of the property is a post-and-beam barn with warm string lighting, vintage pendant lights, oak wine barrels and a dedicated dance floor waiting for the evening to begin.

The farm hosts weddings of up to 80 guests, keeping celebrations intimate enough that the room can still feel filled with familiar faces. For smaller ceremonies, the Lookout sits high above the charming barn and pastures with sweeping views across the Salmon River Valley toward Shuswap Lake and the surrounding mountains. It is reached separately from the main farm, making the journey to the ceremony feel like its own little chapter of the day.

Back at the charming barn, the 30-by-60-foot main space and side bays give couples room to shape dinner, dancing and gathering around their own plans. The property remains a working farm and private residence, which adds to its sense of being somewhere personal rather than commercial.
