Danceland

Danceland gives a Saskatchewan wedding something almost no modern venue could recreate.

A dance floor with nearly a century of stories beneath it.

Built at Manitou Beach in 1928, the historic ballroom remains a year-round gathering place and is still available for private weddings and special events. Its famous floating hardwood dance floor has become part of the identity of the building itself.

That makes the first dance feel particularly fitting.

Up to around 500 guests can gather in the venue, with seating for approximately 400, giving large prairie weddings room for the whole family, dinner and a dance floor that was quite literally made to be used.

Then there is Manitou Beach around it.

Guests arrive in a resort community beside Little Manitou Lake, with accommodations and other local attractions nearby.

But once the music starts, the building becomes the destination.
