Cruickston Park feels like the kind of wedding estate guests discover rather than simply arrive at.

Hidden behind private gates in Blair near Cambridge, the property unfolds through stone walls, cobblestone paths, forest, gardens, pastures and a collection of beautifully appointed houses.

It is not built around a single room.

The wedding can move.

A ceremony can belong to one corner of the estate.

Cocktails can take over another.

Photographs can disappear into the grounds.

And the reception can gather everyone back together as evening begins.

For celebrations using The Trio, the Stone Cottage, Trapper's Cabin and Stables create a private collection of spaces for weddings of up to around 150 guests.

Couples can also turn the celebration into an entire weekend, with welcome drinks, rehearsal dinners, the wedding itself and brunch unfolding across the estate. Overnight accommodation is available for up to around 30 guests.

That changes everything.

Nobody has to rush away.
