Just outside McLean, about 20 minutes east of Regina, Country Acres is a fifth-generation family farm filled with the little details that make a country wedding feel wonderfully nostalgic.

The property brings together prairie scenery, flower gardens, a beautiful hip-roof barn, a rustic log cabin and a large tented event space, giving the day room to move between the outdoors and the celebration inside.

There are plenty of ways to lean into the setting. Couples can ask about arriving by horse-drawn carriage, taking guests for hay wagon rides, gathering around a bonfire later in the evening or bringing antique and vintage pieces into the décor. There is even a 1928 Model A Ford available as one of the venue’s optional touches.

Guest rooms and camping are available on the property too, making it possible for some of your favourite people to stay close after the last dance.

It is romantic without being overly polished, with the kind of country setting where wild greenery, old buildings and prairie skies become part of the photographs.
