Spread across 28 acres of Alberta countryside, Cork and Crate Estates is the kind of place where a wedding can turn into an entire weekend away.

For a larger celebration, the Vine House welcomes up to 200 guests, opening onto a private courtyard where vows can be exchanged surrounded by greenery and seasonal sunflowers. Large glass doors blur the line between indoors and out, while wine and whiskey barrel details give the property a relaxed winery-inspired character.

Smaller weddings can make the Tea House their own, with space for up to 50 guests and intimate packages designed around celebrations that do not need a huge crowd to feel special.

There are dedicated spaces for both sides of the wedding party to get ready, along with gardens, nature paths, games and plenty of countryside for photographs. Guests may even meet some of the estate’s resident animals along the way.

Accommodation and camping add another layer to the experience, giving friends and family the chance to stay close instead of disappearing as soon as the dancing ends.

From courtyard vows to late-night celebrations in the countryside, Cork and Crate feels less like hiring a room and more like taking over your own little corner of Alberta for the wedding.
