Copperview Farms

Copperview Farms gives an Okanagan-Shuswap wedding the kind of view that immediately explains why the celebration is happening outdoors. Set across 140 acres near Sorrento, the property looks toward Shuswap Lake and Black Mountain, with open land, broad skies and sunsets forming the first layer of the wedding before a single flower is placed.

Ceremonies take place in an open field with space and privacy around the vows. Afterwards, the celebration can move into the post-and-beam reception barn, which is available from Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. Farm-style tables and cross-back chairs are provided for up to 200 guests, along with wood benches for the ceremony and a choice of wooden arbour.

The venue also includes a raised dance floor, bar with ice storage, washroom facilities, ceremony and reception sound equipment, parking and basic décor pieces. A small number of travel trailers can dry camp on the property, giving some guests the chance to remain nearby after the evening ends.
