Cobble Hill Winery feels made for couples who want their wedding to smell faintly of lavender and unfold beneath the open Vancouver Island sky.

In the Cowichan Valley, the winery offers three distinct ceremony settings. Couples can exchange vows on the lawn overlooking lavender fields and vineyard rows with distant views toward Salt Spring Island, gather beside the gazebo near evergreens and the vineyard labyrinth, or choose the tasting-room deck with the vines and lavender stretching beyond it.

The property is especially lovely for intimate weddings. Celebrations can range from tiny elopements and gatherings of up to 40 people through to weddings of around 80, keeping the atmosphere personal and connected even when the tables fill.

Guests are able to wander the farm, discovering the lavender, vineyard, pond, labyrinth and gardens while the couple slips away for photographs. A garden patio becomes the reception setting, with space for either a seated meal or a more relaxed celebration.

The Guest House adds another romantic possibility, giving the wedding party a private place to prepare and, for some celebrations, somewhere to stay around the wedding.

For couples who picture vineyard rows, lavender moving in the breeze and dinner outdoors with their favourite people, Cobble Hill Winery offers something wonderfully intimate. It feels less like stepping into a wedding venue and more like spending a beautiful day together on a Vancouver Island farm where wine, gardens and countryside are simply part of the story.
