Somewhere between Princeville and Victoriaville, a wedding can unfold with fairways, water and Québec countryside stretching quietly beyond it.

Club de Golf Laurier is an 18-hole golf course where the landscape is very much part of the celebration. Several holes wind alongside water, and from the reception space guests can look out across a panorama that changes naturally as afternoon gives way to evening.

The club's wedding reception room welcomes approximately 150 guests, giving couples enough space for a full celebration while keeping the evening intimate enough that the room still feels connected. An event coordinator works with couples as they plan their reception, with dining and decorative options available through the venue.

But the loveliest part of a golf course wedding often happens away from the tables.

For a little while after the formal photographs, the couple can disappear onto the property together.

The golf course is quieter now. Guests are somewhere behind them beginning cocktails. The nervousness that filled the morning has gone because the hardest part is over.

They are married.

There is finally a moment to notice it.

Later, everyone gathers inside. Dinner begins, speeches follow and the room that was carefully prepared all morning starts becoming louder and warmer as the people inside it relax.
