CJ Country Events

CJ Country Events did not begin with a ballroom.

It began with a farm.

The family property in Rockwood has been operating since 2003, growing over time from open fields and an equestrian centre into a country wedding venue built piece by piece by the family who still runs it.

That history gives the place a warmth that is difficult to fake.

Weddings are hosted from April through December, allowing the property to change with the Ontario seasons rather than belonging only to summer.

Couples can choose from full weddings, smaller micro celebrations and pop-up formats, making the venue as relevant to an intimate guest list as it is to a more traditional country wedding.

There are dedicated cabins for the wedding parties too, giving both sides somewhere to gather before the ceremony.

Those hours matter.

They are where dresses are hung, ties are redone, someone realizes they forgot something important and the people closest to the couple begin understanding that the day they have talked about for months is actually happening.

CJ also gives couples freedom over the team they bring with them. Outside caterers, photographers and florists are welcome, allowing the wedding to be shaped by the people and traditions that make sense for that particular couple.

Then the farm becomes a celebration.

The quiet country setting fills with guests.

The ceremony finishes.

Dinner begins.

And somewhere on a property that started with fields, horses and one family's ideas, another family begins.
