Some vineyard weddings feel beautiful because of the scenery.

Church and State Wines feels special because the vineyard remains part of the celebration even when everyone moves inside.

Set in Brentwood Bay on Vancouver Island, the winery offers an outdoor ceremony site beside the pond, surrounded by vines and natural landscape. An indoor ceremony option keeps those vineyard views close when the weather changes, while the main dining space welcomes celebrations of up to approximately 200 guests.

The day can begin among the vines.

Guests gather.

The ceremony starts.

Then suddenly all that beautiful scenery fades into the background because two people are standing in the middle of it saying their vows.

Afterwards, glasses begin to fill while the newlyweds wander through the vineyard for photographs.

Inside, exposed cedar beams, high ceilings and broad windows keep the winery feeling connected to the landscape.

Then dinner begins.

Wine made on the property reaches the tables.

Speeches become laughter and eventually everyone forgets about the carefully planned timeline and simply enjoys the night.
