Calamus Estate Winery feels like a secret piece of Niagara wine country waiting at the top of the escarpment. Surrounded by acres of lush vineyard and tucked beside the natural beauty of Ball's Falls, the estate gives couples exclusive use of the property for their wedding day, allowing the celebration to feel private, peaceful and wonderfully removed from everything else.

Couples can exchange vows against a rustic barn or vineyard backdrop, with the main covered barn accommodating celebrations of up to about 150 guests. The estate also offers memorable touches such as bonfires, lawn games, cellar experiences and even private stargazing from the silo observatory.

There is something almost magical about a wedding that begins among vines and can end beneath the stars. The vineyard feels serene in the afternoon, the old barn brings warmth and character, and every pathway seems to offer another romantic little corner for photographs.

Then twilight falls across the escarpment, glasses of local wine are raised and the whole estate takes on that soft, glowing feeling that makes you wish the night could last forever.
