Blinkhorn Acres

At Blinkhorn Acres, the wedding begins far from ballroom walls. The property stretches across 52 acres near Pinantan Lake, about 25 minutes from Kamloops, where grassland hills, breathtaking mountain views and the changing soft, golden evening light give the day the feeling of a private country escape.

The farm began as a lavender and apiary property and started welcoming weddings and elopements in 2025. Its wedding packages make use of the sweeping open fields for ceremonies and receptions, with an arbor, reception tent, tables, chairs and benches included for gatherings of up to 100 guests. A larger package can accommodate up to 150 with expanded tent and washroom facilities. There is also a bachelor suite that can be used for getting ready or during the wedding weekend.

For couples who want something much smaller, Blinkhorn Acres also offers intimate elopement experiences for the couple and up to 18 guests. That range gives the property two very different kinds of romance: a full weekend gathering spread across the farm, or a tiny ceremony where every person present is part of the inner circle.

The magic here is in the breathing room. There is space for the ceremony to feel unhurried, for photographs to follow the light across the hills and for the reception to settle naturally into the landscape.

As golden hour arrives over the grasslands, it is easy to picture everyone lingering just a little longer, reluctant to let such a beautiful day become yesterday, leaving the kind of warm, romantic memory that feels almost storybook long after the last dance.
