Bates Barn

Tucked into the countryside of Long Point, Bates Barn is the kind of place made for a wedding weekend filled with fresh air, long tables, dancing and everyone you love staying just a little longer.

The spacious 42-by-82-foot barn combines exposed timber beams with a warm, rustic atmosphere, while a mezzanine overlooks the reception and dance floor below. There is room for more than 175 guests, with tables and chairs available as part of the venue.

Step outside and the celebration opens onto acres of New Brunswick countryside, with beautiful natural backdrops for ceremonies and photographs. Couples can move between indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the day, then gather back inside when it is time to eat, toast and dance.

There is a bridal suite for getting ready, a full-service bar, sound system and projector, plus plenty of parking. For guests who want to make a night of it, campsites are available on the property and there is also a log house rental.
