There is a lovely moment after a golf-course ceremony when the newlyweds finally get to wander away together.

At Barrie Country Club, there is plenty of beautiful space in which to do it.

The outdoor wedding garden sits beside the clubhouse, with a traditional arbour, stone-paved aisle and landscaped flower beds creating a dedicated place for the vows.

If the weather changes, the clubhouse offers an indoor ceremony option with high ceilings and views across the championship course.

Then everyone begins celebrating.

Guests gather beneath the covered verandah overlooking the 18th green while the newlyweds disappear onto the course for photographs.

Later, the Trillium Room can welcome up to approximately 250 guests, with floor-to-ceiling windows opening the celebration toward a private terrace.

Dinner begins.

Speeches turn into laughter.

The hardwood dance floor finally fills.

And outside, the golf course becomes quieter as the evening goes on.
