At Auberge Godefroy, some of the loveliest parts of the wedding happen before anyone reaches the reception room.

The Bécancour inn surrounds celebrations with landscaped gardens, fountains and carefully kept grounds, giving couples somewhere to hold the ceremony, gather for cocktails or disappear together for photographs while their guests settle into the day.

Then everyone comes inside.

Reception spaces can welcome weddings from around 40 to 250 guests, allowing a smaller celebration to feel properly intimate while still giving a larger wedding room for the full dinner, speeches and dancing.

That flexibility matters.

Not every love story arrives with the same guest list, and Auberge Godefroy does not ask a wedding of fifty people to pretend it is a wedding of two hundred.

The team provides personalized coordination, including an on-site coordinator for the wedding day, while the culinary side of the celebration can be shaped around the couple and their guests. Menu tastings are available before the wedding, and dietary needs can be incorporated into the planning.

Then there is the advantage of being an inn.

Guests do not have to treat the reception as the only part of the experience. Rooms on site mean people can arrive, settle in and remain together after the formal celebration has finished.

And that creates the moments that never appear on the run sheet.
