Couples can exchange vows outdoors near the water, with the property’s pavilion, pond, wooded paths and waterfalls creating beautiful little corners to disappear into for photographs. Then, as the celebration moves inside the old mill for dinner, the feeling changes without losing the character that made you fall for the property in the first place.

Perhaps one of the loveliest things about Au Vieux Moulin is that your wedding does not have to compete for its attention. The venue hosts just one special event per day, giving couples exclusive use of the mill and its countryside setting. It makes the day feel less like an event moving through a venue and more like, for those few precious hours, this beautiful old place belongs to the two of you.

The setting is particularly suited to couples dreaming of something personal rather than enormous. Au Vieux Moulin currently welcomes weddings from as few as two guests to approximately 105 for a seated ceremony and meal, with cocktail-style celebrations of up to 135 guests possible. Wedding celebrations are hosted seasonally, generally from June through mid-October.

There is history here, but it does not feel formal or untouchable. There is water, countryside and the quiet romance of an old mill that has watched generations pass by.
