River’s Edge at the Arlington is the hotel's dedicated wedding venue, tucked inside the historic Dominion Telegraph Event Centre directly on the banks of the Grand River.
And suddenly, the river becomes part of the wedding too.
Inside, exposed brick walls give the room warmth and history, while a balcony overlooking the Grand River brings the scenery right into the celebration. Up to 150 guests can gather here, creating a wedding large enough for a wonderfully full dance floor while still keeping that intimate feeling of everyone being part of the same story.
Before dinner, disappear for a little while.
Walk through the old streets of Paris in wedding clothes. Find the river. Wander past the town's historic architecture and cobblestone homes. Let everyone else begin cocktails while you steal those first few quiet minutes together as a married couple.
There is something almost storybook about it.

Then you return and River's Edge has begun to glow.
Dinner arrives. Glasses are raised. The exposed brick softens beneath flowers and warm light, and the balcony becomes somewhere guests can step away for a moment and look out over the river before returning to the celebration.
The current wedding experience can bring much of the evening together in one place, with the venue's own wedding coordinator, catering and bar service helping the celebration unfold from those first arrivals into dinner and the late-night festivities.
And eventually, the dancing ends.
But nobody has to say goodbye to Paris quite yet.
