The Anne of Green Gables Museum feels almost impossibly made for a love story.

In peaceful Park Corner, beside the Lake of Shining Waters, stands the Campbell family home that Lucy Maud Montgomery loved so deeply she called it her “Wonder Castle of My Childhood.” Built in 1872 and surrounded by rolling green fields, gardens and water, it is a place where the line between real Prince Edward Island and the storybook world Montgomery created seems to disappear.

And now, couples can make a little piece of that story entirely their own.

During your wedding, the property is exclusively yours, with celebrations of up to 60 guests able to unfold across the historic home, gardens, grounds and private beach.

But perhaps the most extraordinary place to say your vows is inside.

On July 5, 1911, Lucy Maud Montgomery stood in the parlour of this very house, in front of the fireplace, and was married.

More than a century later, couples can stand in that same room.

The organ and furnishings used for Montgomery's wedding are still there today, surrounding an intimate ceremony of up to 30 guests with something that cannot be recreated by styling or décor.
