Behind its Queen Street West entrance are two completely different worlds, giving couples the chance to create a wedding that feels imaginative, intimate and a little unexpected.

Above Ground is playful and romantic, filled with elaborate details and the feeling of stepping into a whimsical garden party. There are patterns, flowers, rich textures and a mezzanine looking over the room below. It is the kind of setting where cocktails can begin while everyone is still discovering little details around the space, before the evening settles into dinner, conversation and celebration.

Then there is Below Ground.

Hidden beneath the restaurant is a darker, more intimate world designed to feel like an underground escape. It creates an entirely different mood, quieter and more mysterious, and gives the venue a character few traditional wedding spaces could recreate.

and/ore welcomes private celebrations and weddings, including more intimate gatherings and larger events that take over the venue.

There is something particularly lovely about that for couples who have never pictured themselves in a ballroom.

Instead of trying to transform a blank room into somewhere memorable, they can begin with a place that already has a personality.

Imagine arriving dressed for your wedding while Queen Street carries on outside. Inside, your closest people are gathering beneath the garden-inspired surroundings, drinks are being poured and dinner is becoming less of a formal wedding meal and more of one long, beautiful evening together.

Then sometime later, you look around and realize the restaurant is no longer a restaurant at all.
