What DJ packages do you offer?
Bronze – Starting at $800: "Plug and Play" DJ services for a great event; equipment not included.
Silver – Starting at $1,100: An upgraded experience with full equipment setup and features for events that need a little more than the basics.
Gold – Starting at $1,300: Our most comprehensive package, with an enhanced sound and lighting setup for the full celebration experience.
Do you travel?
Yes! Airwaves DJs are based throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, the Okanagan, Calgary, Toronto, and surrounding areas—and we’re always happy to explore events beyond our home bases. Whether you’re planning a celebration close to home or a little farther away, reach out with your date and location and we’ll let you know what’s possible. Travel fees may apply depending on the location.
Can we chose our own music?
Absolutely! You’ll have access to our planning portal, where you can choose your must-play songs, flag anything you definitely don’t want to hear, and make selections for key moments throughout your event. You’re also welcome to share playlists with our team, and you'll have planning sessions with your DJ. Your DJ will use your preferences as a guide while reading the room and keeping the dance floor going!
Why shouldn't we just book our own DJ?
When you book with Airwaves, you get more than a great DJ—you get a team supporting your event from planning through the last song of the night. We coordinate the details with you, your venue, and your wedding planner, provide the planning tools you need, and make sure your DJ is fully prepared before your big day. You get the personal experience of working with your DJ, backed by the organization and support of the Airwaves team.
Can you provide music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, too?
Absolutely! We can provide music and audio for your ceremony, cocktail hour, reception—or all three. We’ll work with you to understand your venue layout and timeline, then recommend the right setup to make sure everything flows seamlessly from one part of your celebration to the next. Additional equipment or setups may be required depending on your venue and event needs.
What equipment is included?
Equipment varies based on the package you select and the needs of your event. Our packages can include professional sound systems, microphones, dance floor lighting, and additional audio setups for different parts of your celebration. We’ll work with you to understand your venue, timeline, and setup needs so you have the right equipment for your day—without paying for things you don’t need.
What happens after we book with Airwaves?
Once you book with Airwaves, we’ll guide you through everything you need to get ready for your event. You’ll receive access to our planning portal, where you can share your timeline, music preferences, must-play songs, and all the important details for your day. As your event gets closer, we’ll coordinate with you, your DJ, and your venue or planner to make sure everyone is on the same page—so you can focus on enjoying your celebration!
Do you offer MC services?
Yes! MC services can be added to your package for an additional fee. Your MC will help keep your celebration flowing smoothly, make key announcements, introduce important moments, and work with your planner and venue tea
