For a small wedding surrounded by art, character and a little piece of Halifax history, 14 Bells Fine Art Gallery offers an intimate setting in the city’s historic Hydrostone Market.

Bright, contemporary gallery walls meet original Douglas fir floors and exposed brick details, with works from more than 30 Canadian artists creating a backdrop that changes with every exhibition. It is a space that already feels thoughtfully decorated before a single wedding detail is added.

The gallery welcomes weddings of up to 30 guests, making it especially lovely for couples planning a small ceremony or intimate celebration with the people closest to them. Larger cocktail-style gatherings and showers can accommodate up to 60 guests.

Just steps away, Fort Needham Memorial Park offers another beautiful setting for photographs before returning to the gallery to celebrate.

Couples can even incorporate art into their wedding registry, choosing a favourite piece for guests to contribute toward or collecting toward a gallery gift certificate.
